FRP Works at Melbourne Water’s Western Treatment Plant
ENGCO Projects is proud to be supporting a key subcontractor delivering specialised formwork, reinforcement fixing and concrete placement (FRP) activities at Melbourne Water’s Western Treatment Plant (WTP) in Werribee.
Through the provision of experienced Senior Project Management support, ENGCO is assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of complex structural packages forming part of the ongoing upgrades at one of Australia’s largest and most significant wastewater treatment facilities.
The works involve the construction of critical concrete infrastructure including heavily reinforced treatment structures, sludge handling assets, equipment plinths, hydraulic containment structures and large-scale concrete slabs designed to support essential process equipment and long-term plant operations.
ENGCO’s Senior Project Managers are working closely with the subcontractor’s delivery teams, Tier-1 contractors and project stakeholders to support safe execution, programme management, construction coordination and quality outcomes across high-volume civil concrete activities.
The WTP upgrades represent a significant investment in Melbourne’s future water security and wastewater treatment capability, with specialised subcontractors playing a critical role in transforming complex engineering designs into durable infrastructure.
ENGCO continues to partner with leading contractors across Victoria’s water, transport and civil infrastructure sectors, providing experienced project delivery professionals to support successful project outcomes from early planning through to completion.
