Marinus Link – TasVic Greenlink
ENGCO is currently supporting TasVic Greenlink (TVGL) during the early works and planning phase of the Marinus Link HVDC Interconnector Project, providing experienced Engineering, Health & Safety Advisors, Communications Advisors, and Project Planners to assist in preparation for major construction delivery.
Marinus Link is a nationally significant energy infrastructure project connecting North West Tasmania with Victoria’s Latrobe Valley, incorporating approximately 345km of HVDC and fibre optic cable infrastructure, including 90km of underground cable works through Gippsland. The project will strengthen Australia’s renewable energy network by improving energy transfer between Tasmania and the National Electricity Market.
ENGCO’s multidisciplinary team is supporting TVGL through project readiness activities, including engineering coordination, construction planning, safety systems implementation, stakeholder communications, and delivery assurance. This early involvement is assisting the project team to establish the processes, resources, and controls required for the successful transition into major construction activities.
Through the provision of flexible project-based and FIFO resources, ENGCO continues to support TVGL in preparing for the delivery of this landmark renewable energy project, contributing specialist capability across engineering, safety, communications, and project controls.
